This means that the AOAP will promote advocacy by getting ahead of issues, serving as an agent to favorably manage change affecting the aquatic industry, providing a consistent message, exerting respected and credible influence on aquatic issues, creating heightened awareness of areas of concern, and presenting positions that are publicly valued.
