Submit a Session for the International Aquatics & Water Safety Conference
We invite experts and leaders in the aquatic industry to share their knowledge and insights at our upcoming conference. Please use the submission process outlined below to provide details about your proposed session, ensuring all guidelines are met for a successful application.
Submission Guidelines
The Association of Aquatic Professionals (AOAP) maintains high standards for our educational sessions. Speakers at the International Aquatics & Water Safety Conference are expected to deliver evidence-based, professional content that aligns with our mission of drowning prevention and aquatic safety education.
Speaker Policies
All speakers must adhere to our policy regarding commercialism; sessions should focused on educational value rather than product promotion. Selected speakers are responsible for providing their final presentation materials and handouts by the specified deadlines to ensure accessibility for all attendees.
By submitting a session, you agree to our recording policy, which allows AOAP to capture and distribute session recordings for educational purposes within our professional network. Detailed reimbursement and registration policies for speakers will be provided upon acceptance of the submission.
Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal for the International Aquatics & Water Safety Conference and Exposition 2027. Session submittals are due no later than August 15. We will notify speakers whose sessions are accepted by September 1 so that we can have the selected sessions out around September 15.
The Association of Aquatic Professionals is accepting session proposals for our 2027 conference.
Please note that AOAP does not pay speakers or reimburse any expenses for presenting at AOAP (other than the keynote, endnote, general session speakers, or specific invited speakers and potentially pre- and post-conference workshops set up by AOAP).
All speakers must register for the AOAP Conference. All speakers (who are chosen to present) must register for the AOAP Conference. If your session is chosen, you would have one of the following choices for one (1) speaker per session only.
If you are chosen to present, you will be contacted around September 1. If you accept, you will then request a code for one of the options below. These options are only available to speakers selected to present.
Speaker Registration Options are for ONE (1) speaker per session or the moderator for a panel discussion only. Any other speakers for a session must register at the regular conference rate at the time of registration.
1. DISCOUNTED SPEAKER OPTION ($150): This option includes attendance to any sessions throughout the week, CEUs, and entrance to the exhibit hall on Wednesday during public hours only. It does not include any meals or socials.
2. SUPPORT AOAP/NDPA OPTION ($399): This option includes attendance for all regular conference sessions during the week, meals, socials, and CEUs.
