Online Learning at Your Fingertips
AOAP’s online learning portal, powered by our partners at Starfish Aquatics Institute, is a great resource for on-demand and live virtual learning opportunities. And each member has credit for three (3) online learning opportunities and discounted prices on all offerings. With topics ranging from staff training and development to risk management and drowning prevention, there are topics to meet every need. Members are eligible to apply for and complete their Aquatic Professional Designation (AqP) through the portal!
Life Jacket & Swim Lesson Grants
As part of AOAP’s drowning prevention efforts, members are eligible to apply for grants, and the twice-yearly grant cycle distributes hundreds of life jackets and thousands of dollars to support swim lesson programs each year.
Annual Conference Discounts and Scholarship
AOAP members receive deep registration discounts for the International Aquatics and Water Safety Conference and Expo held in February of each year. Members can also apply for a conference scholarship, supported by the Kathy Luecker Memorial Scholarship Fund. What is included in the Professional Membership?
Professional members receive full access to our digital resource library, monthly expert webinars, and significant discounts on all AOAP educational offerings.
How does my membership support drowning prevention?
A direct portion of every membership fee is allocated to our Learn-to-Swim grants and life jacket distribution programs in underserved communities.
Can I upgrade my tier later?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership tier at any time to add additional group agency members for the remainder of your membership term. Contact the AOAP Office at info@aquaticpros.org for assistance.
Are memberships tax-deductible?
As a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, a significant portion of your membership may be tax-deductible. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific details.
